Customer Reviews
I stayed in a room at the Comfort Inn. The room, lobby, and breakfast area were clean and comfortable. Carter was very personable, friendly, and kind. He was incredibly helpful whenever I needed anything and knowledgeable of the area when I asked for food recommendations -- check out the Thai spot close by! He greeted every customer as they came into the lobby, no matter how busy he was. I dealt with Rosalind at check-out and she was also very kind and had such a positive attitude. Overall, this stay was great. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Prince George area.
This hotel was not what the website stated. There was no full breakfast, there was only toast, stale breakfast pastries, outdated coffee creamer. When I poured the coffee creamer in my cup it was curded. The elevator broke down during our stay and the desk clerk stated that the repair man was not able to work overtime so we had to wait until after the holiday. we stayed 4 days and there was no housekeeper at all. when we needed new towels we had to walk up and down the stairs to receive them. The telephones in this hotel does not always work, so if you need anything you will need to walk down to the front desk. There was no cleaning crew so the hotel was dirty during our stay. The first cleaner I saw was on Friday when I was checking out. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone
Short story long, my husband carries my purse for me sometimes. I was eating something and my hands were full. We walk in to this hotel and the lady at the front desk (shelly) or something with an “S” gets an attitude with my husband about him walking in with my purse. She says “shes never seen a man carry a purse for that long”. We are not sure what she was thinking. My husband says that he would give her all the ID she needs and mine as well (active duty military). She then states that “she didn’t ask for no ID” and that she didn’t know if he was GAY or something. Very unprofessional. This happened 3-1-26 at 1:30pm. Maybe she thought I was in danger we are not sure. Nonetheless she should have been straight with us instead of beating around the bush and calling him gay.
Great modern rooms! That’s about all I can say good about this place. I stayed here for 2 weeks for work and during my time here for 14 days housekeeping didn’t come to clean my room at all (stayed on the comfort side not the extended stay side.) I had to take empty out my own trash cans and go down the front desk to exchange my towels every 2 days. The free breakfast is horrible as well with very limited options. The shower water pressure is extremely low as well. When going to the front desk to get fresh towels I was told that they had no face rags left… umm so are you full booked today ?? Ok then you have fresh towels then! They literally switched my room because housekeeping kept skipping my room because they’re short staffed and only clean a certain amount of rooms a day. Yes the plac
Overall, my stay at the Comfort Inn was satisfactory. I was pleased with the price, the cleanliness of my room, the accessible parking, and the friendliness of the staff on the front desk when I checked in. However. I was not happy with the lack of towels and washcloths provided. Only one set was provided for 2 people. When I called the front desk to request more, I was told that none were available, the linens were locked in a closet until 9:00 am on Sunday. Unfortunately, due to an early departure we needed clean washcloths and towels at 7:00 am. Also, there were no hooks or towel racks in the bathroom and not enough electrical outlets in the room.
