Comfort Inn & Suites

I stayed 2 nights and my room had no heat/ac. Told front desk after I checked-in and was basically ignored. Told housekeeping the next day and was ignored again. I am an IHG rewards member and told them about the issue that first night and the next day, with no action takeneither. Management is nonexistent at this property, staff do not speak English fluently and the front desk is never manned. Ac plugs are hard to find, found a usable one in the bathroom and one hidden behind a chase lounge. Lots of usb-A plugs, but no usb-C’s. There is no place to get food either in the hotel or nearby, just breakfast only, which was nothing special. The only good thing about this hotel is the view. Why are they showing the holiday inn express in Pleasantville building and the gazebo at the same location. Clearly it's the wrong building,Not to mention the rooms in these pictures are horrible looking. The owner needs his license taken away for the rest of his or her life.

This was my 3rd stay here. The rooms are well-appointed and well-cared for. Room is fridge and microwave equipped, and I brought fresh market food with me, knowing that. Check-in was easy. They do have free breakfast, though I didn't partake. Everything worked well in the room. When I checked in, there was only a hand towel. I informed them (they were doing new towels), and by the time I got back that night, they had stocked my room. I had maid service on day 2....excellent job. When I first arrived, hallway could've used a vacuum.....when I went out the next day, though, they had vacuumed. This is a shore gem.

3 stars for the pro and 2 for the cons. Location was good. Cleanness was alright. Knockdown 2 stars for breakfast and would smells in the room. We were told breakfast was 7am -10am. We went downstairs at 7:50, literally nothing was left. Every single thing is empty including milk. Dozens of people are waiting for the waffle maker because that seemingly still got some dough left. We waited for 15 mins, didn’t see any refills.”, so went back to the room and waited for almost an hour. came down at 8:50 , guess what, absolutely nothing was refilled. People are pushing each other around and fighting for the watered down ‘coffee’ and the waffle machine. Room smells like mould wood soaked in water for years. This Holiday Inn Express is probably one of the worst we have been to. |Let’s start with the good first- |Checkin wasn’t too bad & check out was easy. Room was clean as was the bathroom. There was a microwave and refrigerator. We were here 2 nights (ready to leave after 1st night). |Parts not so good- |Hotel outside is not kept up. Grass hasn’t been cut in a while, flowers are dead or wilted. Trash all along parking area in the grass/weeds. Lobby is small and looks run down. Overall not a great first impression. |Being across from the elevator “avoid” people were coming & going until wee hours. Many forget people are sleeping they are laughing and talking loudly and their kids are running & hollering. I didn’t realize upon booking that there’s a beach behind hotel somewhere. Lots and lots
