Comfort Inn & Suites Geneva- West Chicago

I stayed at this hotel for date night and it was great! The hotel itself is a bit dated, but not in an ugly or dirty way. Everything is kept clean and organized, the decor is just a bit old. I booked the king room with the whirlpool tub and it was so nice to relax in. Rooms are clean, staff is nice and hospitable. I forgot my toothbrush and they gladly gave me one. I wish I would’ve woken up on time for their hot breakfast, can’t speak on the quality. Like some other reviews say, you can definitely hear noise from the other rooms filling up their tubs but it’s nothing obnoxious or even loud it just comes with being in a hotel full of people. We also doordashed a pizza and there was no issue getting it delivered right to our hotel door. Definitely worth your money! Check out downtown Gene

We are going to a wedding and using the block room service and shuttle this weekend. My problem is with the lack of flexibility. We have at least 18 rooms. No free shuttle and the bride and groom have to pay for their room. There is no attempt on their part to work with us. Why do you have to know the number of rooms four weeks out? Had we known they were so tough to work with, we would not have booked rooms there. Local venues should rethink this hotel.

Im a 9 and not a 10 only because there was things in our room that didnt work like the fridge. The service desk was really nice and knew we were there for the pool and made sure it was safe for us to swim the whole time due to some pool issues that happen hours before our stay. Breakfast was super yummy too .

Clean lobby, fresh smell in the elevator, extremely clean room and a simple but perfect complementary hot breakfast. We really appreciated the noon check out time. It allowed for a more relaxed morning before we departed. Carol in the breakfast area was a hoot and very kind.

The staff were unwelcoming. They didn't bother to look up when we entered, very unprofessional. Breakfast was subpar. The elevator was borderline terrifying with all the shuddering and screeching as it reached the third floor. Repair men were there the last day of our three day stay. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping our room clean and supplying fresh towels daily. The location was ideal for visiting mom but maybe next time I'd try going east on Fabyan instead of west.
