Comfort Inn & Suites Denver Northfield

The room looks good and comfortable, but it is not maintained enough. There was a heavy smell of smoking that did not go away even when we opened the window. It doesn't seem like a hotel maid could miss something like this and let people into an unclean room. In addition, there were dog hairs on the armchair, it seems that the room was not thoroughly cleaned. The elevator and the entrance to the hotel are not clean, you can really see dirt on the floor that has been standing for a long time, I doubt if they cleaned there in the last month.

This was the best experience I have had at any hotel and I have stayed at some NICE hotels. When we arrived, it was about 11pm. The young lady working the front desk was more than friendly and answered all of my questions and made sure to let us know that there was complimentary dinner as well. Our room was clean, put together, and had everything we needed. At breakfast time, everything was perfectly stocked and the staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The next night we didn’t get in until 3am and again the girl at the front desk was very welcoming and asked how our night out was. At dinner there were a couple of ladies working the dinner. They were so sweet and gave us plenty of suggestions and went out of her way to find the box of cookies to make sure they

Wouldn’t recommend was accused and charged for breaking the lock on a window and when I called to address the situation was hung up on. I called over 25 times and was either hung up on, ignored, or threatened that the police were going to be called for harassment .. showers water pressure was horrible and we were moved rooms on 3 occasions due to maintenance issues as well as being placed in rooms that cost less then what we were charged .. staff very rude and disrespectful.. housekeeping was never seen out of a 4 day stay.. the comforters were very thin reminded me of window curtains.. heater stopped working so we spent two out of 4 days cold and all 5 of my kids got sick to include my 4 month old. Nice big and comfortable bed, like always; glad to see Comfort Inn Northfield holding to the standard. Our room was clean but some items of furniture have seen better days and could use an update. Barhroom was clean and water pressure in the shower was great. Despite getting down to the lobby for breakfast a bit towards the end of breakfast hours, we were welcomed to a nearly fully stocked breakfast bar instead of slim pickings. All the food was hot and delicious. Though the hotel itself isn't in the best neighborhood, they make up for it by providing a 3 star experience with 2 star pricing.

My wife and i and the kids stopped here for a night while traveling for a friends wedding. Great little hotel for the price. Outside could use some touching up but the rooms were renovated and looked really nice. Beds were nice and comfy. Check out nice was at 11 which was awesome and they also offered free complimentary breakfast and dinner. Only thing keeping this review from 5 stars was the front desk staff. Just seemed a little turned off. Amanda did not come off as very friendly or approachable. Also waited about 5 minutes to ask a question while she had a personal conversaton on the phone. Otherwise great hotel.
