Comfort Inn Saint Paul East

Stayed in 2 different rooms in 2 weeks. Pillow cases had stains, bathroom floor still had dirt on it in one. The complimentary breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had. Tv didn’t work in the first room. Only thing going for it is the wild boar is right by and has great food

Positive: Rooms, quiet, decent breakfast, the lemonade and lemon water and snacks available 24/7 as well as a room with a computer, etc, TV etc in the lobby for guests to use. Our only issue is with 1 staff member, who is unfortunately a manager (morning manager.) Negative: The morning "manager" on weekdays.

The good: the room was spacious, the king bed is on the firmer side, which we prefer, and we got adequate rest. The front desk was kind and friendly when requesting extra linens. The property seems overall clean and maintained. I feel safe on the property and in the area where it's located. Traffic noise was barely noticeable. I also appreciate that the window opens to allow for fresh air. The questionable: the elevator doesn't have inspection stickers visible ... and it's evident. They are loud and incredibly sketchy. I won't go in it without my phone and even then I prefer the stairs because I'm just not keen on possibly getting trapped in an elevator. Breakfast was ... not worth my trip downstairs. I had an outstanding experience thanks to Asim. From the moment he assisted me, it was clear that he truly cares about customers and takes pride in his work. He was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled correctly and efficiently. Asim took the time to listen, explained things clearly, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. His positive attitude and attention to detail made a big difference, and it’s rare to encounter service at this level these days. This is my second time at this hotel. I loved my first experience. I decided to book this hotel cause my sister in law reminded me that she also had good service with prior stays. So I booked 2 rooms for the both of us online Friday evening. I checked in Saturday evening around 6pm. And received 2 keys for 2 rooms. I thought since I booked and paid online prior, whatever rooms the receptionist gave me would be cleaned as usual. So I didn’t go check the rooms. My sister in law and I along with our spouse returned around after 1am. The 2 rooms were not cleaned. We came back down to tell the receptionist and she gave us 2 new rooms. My sister in law room was cleaned. But their bed was not comfortable. They sinked into one area. They were happy but was tired and It was too late to try
