Comfort Inn Pocono Lakes Region

The reason I’m giving this hotel 4 stars is because the free breakfast was not good and the bathrooms were short/small. The eggs were not good and very watery. I drink hot tea and the water was not even warm. I had a waffle which wasn’t terrible. Also the bathroom toilet was so low not good for older people. The sink was as low as my groin and very hard to bend to brush my teeth. You open the door and it almost hits the toilet super small. The room was nice and clean and location was convenient. Holly checked us in at the front and she was sweet. They also gave complimentary cookies which were delish. Overall I would recommend this hotel but I’d pay to eat at IHOP next door! Unfortunately we had a flood in our summer home there and needed a one night stay!

It's an easy-to-find location. Well marked doors corresponding to your room location. A beautiful, well appointed room (thank goodness for the bathtub...just what I needed). Jill (front desk) was very professional, helpful, genuine & friendly. I was particularly impressed with her multi-tasking: answering guest questions, checking us in, answering the phone...all with ease. She gave very clear & accurate directions & information. Tasty & well presented breakfast. Looking forward to staying there again.

Loved the amenities including hot breakfast and fitness room, I was just disappointed at the small bathroom and how the door to the bathroom and the entrance door are so close to each other. Loved the receptionist who greeted me. She was very warm, welcoming and helpful. Unlike other places that I stayed at, the card/envelope to tip the housekeeper had no name on it, leaving it to feel less personalized. I enjoyed that they had someone overlooking the hot breakfast area to ensure everything was well stocked and cleaned.

My apologies for not remembering the Ladies name at the front desk, but she was great. She was very nice on the phone and in person. We called around looking for a the best price as we were only passing through. Her demeanor and tactfulness stayed in my mind when speaking with many other front desks or call centers. End of the day your place was not the cheapest, but felt most like home, if you will. The cookies were a nice touch too. She also adored my Frenchy, Gracie!
