Comfort Inn Plainwell

Quiet, clean and an unexpected country quality place to stay. Although located on a busy road into town, the rooms are quiet and the hallways are quiet. Easy access to hwys and local roads. Lots of parking in close proximity to the rooms. Excellent water pressure but there were no grab bars in the walk-in shower. Also, short people be advised that the king beds were very high and difficult to get into without a stool. Breakfast is excellent. Staff is professional and courteous.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay in this beautiful hotel! From the time we walked through the door the staff was courteous and helpful. My room was very spacious and spotless clean as was the bathroom and both were loaded with fresh clean linens and towels. Breakfast that morning was eggs and bacon and it was delicious. The location was great, very near pleanty of shopping and restaurants. I will definitely stay in this hotel again next time I am in town!!

Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic, however I couldn't quite go any higher on my rating due to the hot tub not working properly and being woke up at 1:00 in the morning due to the people working (cleaning) downstairs were so very loud and their voices carry upstairs like they are right outside your door. I'm sure they don't realize that though.

I treated my sister and nephews to a sledding/tubing getaway for Christmas instead of buying gifts. The staff here were very accommodating and nice, pet policy was great, room was clean, beds high but comfy, breakfast was great and location was close to Echo Valley for our tubing day. Even tho the pool area was cold (they'd had a pump repaired and it takes time for all that water to heat again) the kids didn't care. I would absolutely stay here again.

The staff, rooms, breakfast, pool and tub could not be better. I am a hotel snob. I've traveled since I was 8. This is an inexpensive hotel. Who's staff care deeply. They work together and maintain a lovely property. They set out a wonderful breakfast daily. The pool is heated, warm enough to swing in and not be cold. The hot tub is actually hot, not luke warm. From the gentleman at the front desk to the young ladies in housekeeping...this is a truly lovely place to stay. I will DEFINITELY be back!
