Comfort Inn Painesville - Concord

Very nice motel overall. I was impressed by the cleanliness and clean, modern decor of the room. Love having a sink outside the bathroom. The free breakfast was nice. Offered a good selection of cereals, waffles, toast, bagels, pastries, eggs, bacon, hash, juices, tea, and coffee. Clerk and breakfast staff were very friendly. While I have stayed in Comfort Inns before, I've never come across one so clean and nice. Painesville was not a destination point, just a stay on a long trip, so I cannot say much about the area, but as a stop for the night, it was a pleasant surprise.

The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, which I truly appreciated. They were the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, there were several inconveniences. The pool was closed, which was disappointing since that was something we were looking forward to. We were also only able to enter through the front entrance. Parking in the front was completely full, so we had to park around the back and walk all the way to the main entrance because the side doors would not open with our room keys. Carrying bags that distance was frustrating. I was also caught off guard by the charges. A $150 deposit was required, and I was charged $310 initially, then an additional $163 was taken from my account while the $310 was still pending. When I called the hotel for clarification, I didn’t get any

I was greeted by a wonderful woman working at the desk when I stayed here (I unfortunately forgot her name i think it was Eileen). After being turned away by the Holiday Inn across the street, it was nice to have a more welcoming alternative. The rooms were very clean and I was well accommodated. However, when I showered in the room I was staying in I was greeted with a massive leak coming from the base of the floor. I understand events like this are inevitable, pipes do fail especially when its been as cold as its been this winter. I let the lady at the front desk know and she offered to move me rooms, I declined since I was just here for the night and it was 2AM at this point. My experience overall was very good and if I ever have anyone from out of town come visit I'll recommend this ho

The room was comfy and clean. The staff was very friendly! Breakfast was nice - your typical hotel breakfast, but again, everything was clean and well stocked! |The icing on the cake though was when I called the front desk (after a couple hours into our 9 hour drive home) - realizing that I left my brand new earrings on the night stand. The woman at the front took my address and said she would put them in the mail right away! She was so lovely. I asked if I could pay for postage and she said for me not to worry about it! We stayed here for one night. We received a warm friendly greeting from the front desk attendant. The lobby and room were updated and very clean. I did not use the pool, but it looked lovely. I was traveling with my dog, and the hotel was very accommodating of her. Breakfast was standard fare, but good. Overall very pleasant stay!
