Comfort Inn Naugatuck-Shelton, CT

I've had the pleasure of staying at this location multiple times over the last 6 months. The rooms are always spotless, clean towels and bedding (no stains) but it doesn't have an overwhelming chemical smell/ cover up odor. The breakfast spread is really good with a lot of options which is nice especially for the picky eater that I am. My biggest compliment goes to the staff. I actually called to make sure I had the correct names for everyone. Kathy, the manager as well as the front end/reception staff Patricia and Orlando are phenomenal! They are always friendly and helpful. I enjoy chatting with them during check in, they seem like genuinely nice people. The staff was great! Very helpful! My room was clean! Housekeeping was very good also. I would have given a score of 10 but the only suggestion I have is for this location to get a new toaster because one end was broken and the other side of it really did not toast correctly and breakfast food could have been hotter. Many TV channels were not working. Staff explained they were in the process of looking for another company. Otherwise everything else was fine. Again the staff and house keeping was great!

Some staff friendly helpful others very rude, nosey and insulting. Housekeeping can't keep up on party fueled weekends pot smell does leech through the air especially on the wild weekends.didvhave issues wedith bugs in old air conditioner before it was replaced and in bathroom sink pipe leaking as well as blinking then we'll out bathroom light fixture some staff punish patrons for issues and fail to communicate well with customers and each other it has severely changed in the last 12 years

Staying in the cute, cozy hotel was such a lovely experience for us. The room was clean and well maintained. The pillows and blankets soft and comfortable. The beds were good too. The room spacious. We stayed in a double queen room. They have fresh lemon water and a station of coffee and good selection of tea in the lobby. In the mornings they serve a good selection breakfast. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

"This is a really nice hotel," for the price. I've stayed here a few times in the past and I've always liked it. I love that it's so close to everything. The manager is so pleasant and helpful. He allowed me to check in early today because I arrived 3 hours before check in, after a long drive from out of state. I just got here and my room is so clean everything smells so good! The bed is so comfortabl. The room smells fresh. Bathroom is nice and clean. I really enjoy staying here when I come to visit . The lobby always has warm cookies & spring water with lemon when I arrive . I highly recommend this hotel.
