Comfort Inn Ebensburg

I attempted to stay at this location on 1/19 when I was traveling with my young daughter and got caught in a snow/ice storm on rt 22. My husband booked a room for my daughter and I online. When we got to the hotel check in was fine but the clerk looked strung out on drugs. There were really sketchy people in the lobby that were clearly friends with the clerk that set my mom safety bell off. I was very stressed as the road conditions were bad and I was worried for our safety on the road. I was so grateful to finally be off the road. I got our stuff up to the room and went to call my husband to let him know we arrived safely. I couldn’t find my phone but remembered I set it on the front desk when I was checking in. Booked one night weeks ago, added another night minutes later, get at the hotel, no problem, clerk clearly sees two nights, next day while out with family in another town, get a call that we have to come back snd check out. Explained we booked two nights in total, and we were out with family on an early Christmas trip. The clerk would not switch things together and could not care less about the disruption of our trip. Never had a hotel treat us this way for such incompetence. Last time booking anything with Comfort Inn.

The site is clean and quiet. Convenient to restaurants, fast food and a grocery store. Staff is always friendly. Special first floor rooms for dogs. Lots of well lighted space to walk a dog. Down side is a high per pet per day fee.

This is one of the best Choice Hotels we have ever been in. It scores 5 stars in every category. The breakfast was super good with so many choices of what to eat, even sausage links, egg-cheese-peppers omelets, and fruit cups.

Early Saturday morning January 3rd, my wife, dog, and I were in a car accident. The Jackson Fire Chief brought us to the Comfort Inn while we waited to get a ride home as we live 75 miles away. Even though we weren’t guests, the staff took such good care of us and treated us as if we were guests. This meant so much to us. Thank you so much everyone! You made the most frightening day so much easier to deal with.
