Comfort Inn Detroit - Troy

I stay at this location frequently and it just continues to decline. I'm not even a person who complains or leaves reviews but I'm so disappointed and fed up I decided to. From the moment you walk in you expect to see someone of professionalism and then there's a new person who doesn't seem to know how to spell or do simple math. The rooms are not cleaned and maintained in a clean and healthy way. I continue to ask for housekeeping service and continue not to get it. The only English speaking housekeeper stated to me that they focus more on the rooms that are checking out!!?? Seriously?? Then on top of not receiving housekeeping service,I get woke up and disturbed by how these housekeepers can just be on the clock but yet on their phones all day talking and singing and dancing and even vid

Older property with no frills. The room was clean, King- size bed was comfortable and the shower was updated to a walk-in. Nice! Breakfast area was clean, ample seating and just what you expect. Location was perfect for attending our medical appointment.

This was a great place to stay. Close to Beaumont Hospital. It was clean and everyone was very friendly and helpful. It’s hard to pick a place to stay when you’ve never been in the area before! I didn’t try the breakfast offered but it didn’t look to bad. Price per night could be a little lower like some others in the area. But overall, I was happy.

I don’t ever complain. Really. But you should probably know this was a pretty poor experience. I entered my room and unfortunately the toilet was plugged and water was on the floor. The smell in the room was not horrible but not great. I was so tired I just put a towel on the floor to soak up the water and turn on the fan. The room was freezing so I put on the heater and unfortunately it kept cycling on and off all night. Given how loud it is and no way to turn it down, I just accepted the loud wake up sounds every 20 min or so. To add insult to injury someone called my room twice at 3 am. Not sure who and I assume that is not your hotels fault but it just seemed like one of those nights. Anyway I have stayed there before and had a good night sleep but last night was not fun.

How does this place have a 4 out of 5 rating? Place was a dump. Parking sucks. Water pressure Auckland the rooms are tiny. I left to go to work when I came back, housekeeping was obviously in my room. They replaced the towels did NOT make the bed and stole my edibles. They could have at least thrown the other trash away, and I would have thought you figured it was garbage. So never again will I stay at that hole in the wall.
