Comfort Inn Blythewood - North Columbia

We had multiple issues with this hotel. 1. The towels all had multiple brown stains on them 2. There was many hair strands in the shower 3. The toilet was running the entire night 4. The mattress topper was not placed properly and was scrunched underneath the sheets 5. The room was generally dirty and dusty 6. The price on the website was much lower than the price offered at the hotel 7. We were not told there was no breakfast service until after we booked. Instead, we were given a "grab and go" bad that included a yogurt and danish. There was no juice or coffee available. Overall, this was not worth the $121 we paid and we would not recommend this hotel. We spoke to the front desk staff, who promised the manager would call us, however, we never received a call.

Positive: "" Negative: Had to call on fridge, not cold. Sheets on backwards. Breakfast was horrible. Eggs were fried and flat as a pancake. Stacked up thinner than paper. Round Sausage was lying in 4" of grease! Cars and trucks were blocking entrance at check-in

The rooms are getting remodeled, but the quality is not there, many issues in the room (#100)we were staying in. Poor painting Loose tile in bathroom and holes in the wall, poor finishes Wood being used as trim in the shower (who does this?) Baseboard near bed is being held in place with exposed drywall screws, looks terrible I’ll give you a big A+ for getting rid of the carpeting. Love the flooring Don’t know if the bed mattress was replaced or not it seemed very lumpy, could not get comfortable. Like the new headboards with USB outlets I hope someone is reviewing the finish work and get these issues corrected.

It's an older building but has been completely modernized, rooms are super cool looking, nice freezing air con, smells good, genuinely friendly staff, both front of the house and back. I want to personally thank Ms. Linda, a room cleaning tech, for the extra trash bags and kind words, she's a beautiful person, than you. And Ms. Kathleen, she was buzzing around like a busy bee tidying up the lobby and dining area with a smile on her face, along with some sweet parting words for us, thank you.

The staff was friendly. Helpful when asked where to eat. They were very helpful and suggested a wonderful place to try. They even offered us a discount to go there. Even though the hotel was full of construction workers. It was still very quiet and great to stay at. The food and breakfast area was well attended. Never was anything lacking. He did a great job!
