Comfort Inn Apalachin / Binghamton W Route 17

I have been a diamond Choice member for awhile and love coming here to this Comfort Inn. However, the rooms lack USB charging stations like other up-to-date hotels now currently have that I go to. Plus, they don't have C-port charging too which many other hotels support this in their rooms. Plenty of customers prefer this since their life is their phone. As I was there only about 20% of the outlets worked for me and I mentioned that to the manager there. The eggs that they do serve seems quite rubbery and not quite eggs you wanna eat. I have to give it a thumbs down 👎 on this one. They could do better on that. Everything else seemed quite alright and comfortable though.

Clean, breakfast is limited, stayed on first floor next to ice machine and exercise room. There was a lot of noise from in walls plumbing, pipes vibrating from 2nd floor. Hard to get a good night sleep. Bed comfortable.

We had planned to stay in Owego, NY but our usual hotels were double their typical rates (probably college move-in traffic combined with a HS reunion), and this place was quite inexpensive. My title refers to the fact that we had a place to sleep and towels, we felt safe and were offered food - full stop. This could be a much better place if an effort were made to maintain and spiff it up. For example, in our clean bathroom, there was no towel rack, only a double robe hook on the door. It was been bashed in and is subsequently unusable on one side because it had been smashed into the wall many times, as evidenced by the obvious wall patching where it hits. Not only was the room we stayed in filthy in many ways, but my gf and I got sick from just using the hot tub in the room. The carpets were torn and stained, the ceiling paint was peeling off, the counters were dusty, the floor above us was squeaky and we had the misfortune of having upstairs neighbors that didn’t sleep and I could only assume they were practicing for an MMA fight above our heads at 3AM. In addition to the room issues there were no vending machines that I could use to get a drink of water. The first desk attendant was kind enough to give me a couple of waters, but the second desk attendant had to have a long hard think about it because the waters were “supposed to be for members only.” My gf and I booked this hotel room specifically because of the hot tub. We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was very nice, spacious, and extremely clean. Breakfast was good with a nice variety. The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Since I was traveling with small children, I requested a late checkout, and they were kind enough to extend it for us, which made a big difference. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to everyone
