Columbus Inn and Suites

Room was extremely clean. Beds were so comfortable. Owners were very polite and curtious. I would recommend this Days Inn over any Days Inn. Great experience 👍👍👍😀😀😀

Clean room and reasonably priced. The only negative was the wifi signal was weak, and cell service was limited. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot.

We were stuck in Cashiers, NC after hurricane Helene passed thru and trying to get home to Knoxville. Many roads were blocked, and we found ourselves in Columbus, NC with little gas. We found this hotel and even though they had no power, they let us have a room so that we had a bed to sleep in and could take a cold shower. We offered to pay cash, but they trusted us enough to take our credit card information so they could charge us when the power comes back up. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the owners were as nice as could be. ||At times like these you have to depend on the kindness of strangers, and these owners certainly were extraordinarily kind to us.

DISCLAIMER: like every comment, this is just my opinion. I would encourage everyone to read other comments to form a better decision when deciding to stay here. I’m providing one star because when I think of hotels, I believe service and hospitality are two of the most important cores/pillars to any hotel business. This business in particular did not uphold these cores. When I walked into my room, it was extremely warm, and I discovered the AC was off. I understand from a cost efficiency perspective why they wouldn’t leave it on, but it was not a welcoming or an inviting feeling. Secondly, the room reeked of smoke, and I started to get a headache after five minutes being in the room. This was partially my fault…when booking, I didn’t select “non-smoking,” but I also wasn’t given an op

I booked and canceled my stay on the same day (July 30) and I was still charged. Called the hotel Saturday (12:22) and talked to someone and they said I would be issued a refund. Called August 5 asking to receive an email stating the refund is being processed. The person I talked to said my money was non-refundable. I did everything right in a timely manner. It’s August 27 and they are still dodging my calls.
