Colony Inn Motel

Great experience at the Colony Inn! The young lady that checked us in was very nice, The staff in the Bar and Grill were very pleasant. The housekeeper was very pleasant as well. The room was clean, and when I locked myself out of the room on Sunday morning at 9am they came and let me in..even after they'd told me at check in to be careful and keep my key in my pocket. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Terrible. Waitress was rude. Asked where the drink menu was and got told there wasn’t one. Asked what they had and waitress said…what do you want? It didn’t get any better from there. Convenience fee is charged when buying beer (no sign posted). She didn’t tell me until she had my card. Wait for food was incredible (over an hour) especially considering one of us ordered the special. Food arrived only after I tracked the bartender down and asked her if our food had been started (if not we were going to leave). She wasn’t super excited but after I pestered her she did go check. Magically, 30 seconds later our food appeared but everything except one side of fries (which was hot) was lukewarm to cold. The other food had to be sitting for 15 minutes to get that cold. Been going there for deer hunting for 10+years. This year was the worst. Started with our toilet not working the first day, Friends room had bedbugs, and had a pulled pork sandwich in the restaurant that I couldn't even eat.

We had supper there it was great.. special thanks as they opened Early for us,we were 1/2 hour early... very impressed with the cook& wait staff..

Spent the day at the reservoir and that night at Colony Inn before heading home. Met the owners and virtually all the staff in the bar/grill. This place is great, it's not a Hilton but it's really nice for a motor inn. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating, room was clean and comfortable, shower was hot and A/C cold. The bar/grill is cool with pretty darn good food as well. Will definitely stay here again when I'm back at Sherman Reservoir. Harley the dog and her new puppy friend will be there to greet you.
