Colonial Motel

The blankets were LIKE BUTTER so cozy and soft. The bedding smelled so clean and the bed was so comfortable. Checking in was a breeze, would definitely come back. Such a cozy spot. Sometimes traveling as a woman I am nervous about where i stay but this motel was very comforting!!!

Josh was a very friendly host. Checkin/Checkout was a breeze. As was the swimming pool. Large (for a motel), perfect for a proper swim and relaxation after a long drive.The room was decent. Yes, it's old school, and the bed is on the very soft side (if you prefer more firm beds, you might not like it), but it was clean, and all worked as it should.The shower head is fantastic. If you like a perfect water pressure, you'll love to refresh here.There is a petrol station nearby, as well as a local diner. For more than that, you'll have to drive to one of the nearby villages (5-10min drive)tl;dr: All great, would stay again. Bed mattress is very soft.

This motel is fantastic. It is clean, the kids loved the pool, convenient to SUNY Oneonta and Delhi. The owners are excellent. |I by accident left a 2 star review on Hotels.com I didn't even realize I was in review mode and must have hit send, but it is a five star motel. The rates are wonderful and I would stay there again.

We stayed here for a long weekend trip to spend some time in the mountains. The motel was a great location for us and we also liked that there are food options within walking distance. The room was really comfy and appreciated the kitchenette with coffee, sink, microwave and mini fridge. We also brought our small dog with us.

It's really about the nuance of the details. You might feel like the 80's style is possibly off putting but it's actually as other reviewers have said. It's clean and a great place to stay if you're looking for accommodations not to far from the skiing in the region. The coffee machine is a big winner for coffee people The little kitchenette huge plus with sink and well working fridge where I could store my stuff overnight and my freezer bags. The room is well equipped for more than that we just didn't use any of it, but it was a really comfortable crash for the four of us. If we come back to this region I would definitely consider staying here longer than we have.
