Colonial Inn Dyersville

This place is an absolutely disgusting ! Room dark dank and smelled like mildew. Not to mention huge infestation of bed bugs. Refused to stay there,When you bring it up to the super nice and sweet hotel staff they tell you they've got no issues with bugs which is a lie. I've got pictures. Oh and when you make reservations they go ahead and take the full payment at that time instead of like all the other places around where they take payment. When you check in/ check out after services. Nope not them. They take right when you make the reservation and then you've got to fight to get your money back.... This place was an absolute nightmare and 10 out of 10 would not recommend not even to somebody I hated.... So if you're into bed bugs and mildew/ mold this is your place. It's almost like the

I read the reviews. Wanted clean, comfy, safe, locally owned and operated. What I got far exceeded my expectations! Cheap worked for my budget for 4 nights. Subway shop, McD's, grocery, and a great restaurant/tavern downtown that served home cooked lunch buffet! The local historical society over the police station and museum across from it, kept me occupied! My bed was comfy, room clean. Owner Rocky was having some work done on an empty room and said mine was next! No probs with wifi tv microwave or refrigerator! Had the weather been hot, the AC would have been a deal breaker! It was to be replaced, so make sure it works!|Breakfast was continental. Coffee was good. I'd stay again on my next trip without hesitation!

Con isn’t to field of dreams, NHRA track. We stayed 3 nights. Your basic room with fridge, microwave, tv. Clean , they came each day to replace towels and sweep.

The service was fabulous. I had forgotten something in my room and they found it and held onto it for me in the main office til I got back to retrieve it
