Colonial Inn

I know it's been a long time, but this happened before Google reviews were a real thing. We stayed there during hurricane Katrina. The lights at the hotel went out the night the storm hit. No ice. No air no lights. They tried to charge us a regular nightly rate, we said hell no and left. I will never forget the greed and over all careless attitude of the owners and workers. If it gets down to 1 star, maybe somebody will shut this filthy dump down. Thank you.

My son was stranded in this town due to a terrible car accident. The owners/front desk people were terrible rude to him and kept trying to change the price of the room. The room was filthy. ||After the stay, the would not provide a receipt. I am trying to get a receipt from them so he can be reimbursed through insurance for the stay and they will not give me one. They said they don't offer that service and hung up on me. I have tried to call back several times and they hang up on me.

Not a comfortable sleep but sleep. Mgmt are nice and helpful. Cleaning staff is horrible. Our floors never got cleaned not one time while we stayed. We cleaned and sanitized ourselves A LOT!

Well besides the extra roaches crawling around and the dirty wash cloth still hanging in the shower this place is not so on my list to stay at. I did ask for roach spray and she did give me a bottle and said to leave the unused portion. On the bright side the baby roaches were cute. Lol.

Horrible service, rude, and charged us extra $20 and kept changing the reason why we was charged. Room was dirty and had bed bugs. Alerted staff was told oh well. The office guy kept walking away when we tried to talk to him. Is at 10 the calls and door knocks began telling us to "get out now"
