😊: The reception staff were superb. In fact, not only were the staff friendly towards the guests, they also seemed to be a really good team that got along together. The rooms are spacious and contain everything you would need. The seating was really comfortable. The bar was great and spacious, with reasonably priced drinks and food on offer. There is plenty of parking. The public areas are stunning.. 😢: Nothing at all..

I photographed a wedding reception at The Colonial Hotel and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was warm, attentive, and incredibly organized — everything flowed perfectly from start to finish. The ballroom looked beautiful, the food was excellent, and the entire property offered great backdrops for photos. From a vendor’s perspective, it’s a dream when a venue runs so smoothly and treats everyone with professionalism and kindness. The couple and their guests had an amazing time, and it truly showed in every moment I captured. Highly recommend The Colonial Hotel for a gorgeous and well-run wedding celebration!

Very clean room! And quiet for sleeping. We had a double for family visit to local area. Reminded me of a marriott in terms of room size and linens. Front staff at check was flat and not very friendly. Was told that many third party websites pretend to be the real hotel website when they are not. Guess thats how I ended up booking through a third party that auto charged my CC. Not a huge deal but I wanted to use a different card upon check and could not. Was told to call hotel to make reservation in the future to ensure I wasn't on a third party site. If we come back I will do this for sure because I don't want my CC info all over the place! Info on breakfast on their own website was not too clear and found out in am there was no breakfast available- warning to others there is almost nothi

My family and I arrived really early morning and the person that checked us in was great! The room smelled like dog and the bathroom like cat litter I understand i was in a pet room but it was like they did nothing to try to clean it. The bathroom door in the room is a barn door gives no privacy. We went to the breakfast buffet was served on Sunday morning and it was cold @ $18.95 per person I expect it to be hot or at least warm. Staff didn’t seem to know the policies of the hotel. Prior to our trip I had called and asked if we were allowed to bring guests to the pool and was told yes my husband called while we were staying there and was told yes with no limit of how many. We arrived with them and the pool area was empty if it had been full of other guests we would have left and was told

Review for restaurant only. Had dinner there December 30. Repeat customer dinner for 7 people. Usually good all around but not this past trip. Server Pierce did his best but was by himself. Service was slow as peirce was busy being monopolize by the boss for a lineman crew. Drinks at table empty for 20 minutes. Food came out, one dish was supposed to be the habanero salmon. Came out without glaze. Waiter brought out COLD Glaze to remedy it... Nope. Not one dirty dish was cleared from table when finished including app plates and drink glasses for entire time there. 90 minutes +. There were other clearing staff people working who. Could do it. Not sure will go back after $400+ dollars and disappointment.
