Good campsites, clean and well maintained. Awesome ice cream at the store and great playground for the kids!

I resverd picnic area 2 for my daughters 7th birthday party. No one put the banner up which was included, we where swarmed by bees all days even a few guests got stung. The girl I gave my ICE CREAM CAKW to put it in the fridge and ruined it. The lady that was helping me tried her best given the situation. I was offered a refund for my cake and ice cream coupons for all the kids to come up and get some. They said they would sing her happy birthday when we came up and no one did I had to take her to the hospital due to an abscess after the party and she laid in the hospital bed crying to me that they didn't sing happy birthday and she didn't even get to blow out any candles. Collins Lake was the best getaway from town and away from people and now under the nature, we were able to get our own freedom away from everyone and in the nature we rented out a boat for $295 it was awesome. One of my best experiences I ever had. I’d recommend everyone who come on a weekend or a weekday run a boat and go out and have fun. It’s one of the best things you can do at Collins Lake. I appreciate the stuff and the employees in the Security and everyone that worked there they were so nice and generous and helpful. I was able to learn a lot about the lake. It was one of my best experiences ever the water was warm and it was nice. I like everything about this place.

Easy going family camping area with a large lake and cooking pits with picnic beach all across the swimming area of the lake, boat docks, safe boat rentals and so much more, a small grocery store provides yummy ice cream combs wit large scoops of almost any summer day would drip over, fishing areas camping on boats that have slides and barbques too story with bathrooms inside of the pontoon boat, restrooms on the lake it's self keeper very clean, camping areas nicely spaced apartment Easy going , Easy life, sand not durt in very large part of the lake, behold the fun day will cost you per car and charger for boat camping sight as well, But it takes money to run, keep clean, and all the things you will injoy, Also a playground ,animals like dogs welcome, 🐕, can't complain with the free

I am the lucky one living not that far from the location and have a frequent opportunity to visit the place. Sometimes, I first go to the ice-cream and coffee place and sit there for a while. And, sometimes, I directly go to the lake just to quietly absorb the impressions and look at the peaceful scenery with rare boats and birds drifting by. The left side of the lake is quieter. It gives so much of simple joy and relaxing energy! And if I feel like socializing, then, you go to the right, to the pier. There are usually people swimming there.
