Coliseum Ocean Resort

The location near the beach is great. The rooms depending on on which ones you get are decent and clean for the most part. The service and I mean from management is trash! They NEVER answer the phone and forget about an email. This used to be a good spot till it got a new owner. The owner recently cancelled out group reservations made almost a year in advance. They didn’t even communicate to each individual person who had a room under the group reservation. They notified one person and haven’t answered the phone since. I left multiple voicemails and nothing. If you want to be annoyed and frustrated this is the place to book. I wasn’t going to leave a bad review but at this point I don’t want anyone going through this aggravating process.

🏖️This was an awesome stay for us! Jerry was great when I called about making reservations. We had multiple rooms and he was very accommodating. This was recently renovated... so lots of things are new in terms of furniture, flooring, ACs etc. Seems like most of the hotels in the area sorely need some updating and renovations. It is beachfront too! Awesome views. 🔥 We also loved how there is a BBQ there so we could just cook there. The other guests were very friendly too. It has a very communal atmosphere. The hotel was very clean and the staff was all very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I was able to use my AA miles which is why we chose this instead of our usual spot. A great find! 💕

Stayed here for many years memorial weekend with friends and family. Was just notified my reservation for this year was cancelled due to knowing someone else that someone supposedly wants to book the hotel even tho we had a deposit on 10 rooms + the pent house we kept going bc we where use to it but its been 3 years with new owners and the it has really shown over this time and even the workers that we have come to know said that they where going to be leaving also the pizzaria use to be good but has new owners also and not what it use to be I guess cheers to a new year some things are a blessing in disguise

Positive: Great location right on the beach. Liked the little cafe attached to the hotel for coffee and sandwiches, pizza, etc. Negative: The rooms were extremely tiny. Beds were small and pillows were not good. Also, there are two bbq grills and two tables on the second level. Families traveling together took them over. Pool didn't open until 1pm which was annoying too.

We had a great time. Jerry was very accomodating when we made reservations, we had 5 rooms in total. Rooms were very clean and modern looking. Could use some hooks or shelves in the bathrooms, but other than that everything was great! All the staff was very friendly, nice and helpful with any questions asked. Looking forward to next year!!
