Cody / Yellowstone East KOA Holiday

We stayed at Cody / Yellowstone East KOA Holiday and had a very pleasant time. The location is great, just outside Cody and on the route towards Yellowstone National Park, which makes it a perfect base for exploring the area. The campground has clean showers and restrooms, which we really appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and our stay very easy. There are plenty of nice amenities for families, including a swimming pool, playground, mini golf, and spaces to relax. The atmosphere is welcoming and calm, and the surrounding scenery adds to the experience. (Note: in September, some things can be closed for the season.) Overall, this is a good and convenient campground with everything you need, close to both Cody and Yellowstone. Definitely worth staying here a

The campground sites had no shade, close together & mostly gravel. We were lucky enough to be next to son's site so made best use of being so close to cook our meals, eat & hang out. Needed RV awning for shade during the day. Even the nicer sites near by with patio did not have shade. Happy we did not pay more for those sites. Pool & hot tub nice especially that there was walk down steps to be able to get in them. Plus large enough for many people without feeling crowded. Many other fun kid activities more than most KOA' s I have stayed @ have. Pancake breakfast was free & huge homemade pancakes. Extra items available for 1 to 2 dollars. Jean was a complete blessing for us! Our plumbing backed up and needed somewhere to stay with the camper and was able to hold a spot for us until it was fixed during tourist season! One of the best KOA we have stayed at. Such great people. Thank you we appreciate you guys!

I booked on the KOA APP like I’ve done many times before. Upon check in and driving to our designated site, our travel trailer was too long for the site ( on the APP I stated how long our camper was) anyway the guy in the office (which had the personality of a rock) said I would need to upgrade to a deluxe site for an additional $51.00 which we did but, it really just put a bad taste in my mouth right from the start. There is 8 Washer & 8 Dryers for $3.00 each per load. The washer runs 30 mins, dryer run 60 minutes. There is seating and a TV in the laundry room for you to watch. There is a table to fold clothes on, an iron and ironing board for you use. The laundry room could use a motion light outside, is very dark so take a flash light if you will be there after dark. Loved our visit at the Cody KOA, pool is great as well as the rest of the amenities! It is quite the drive going into Yellowstone but still is a great location. We didnt do the Cody rodeo but was nice they have a bus to take you there from the campground!
