Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Fort Madison

We stayed there off and on for just over a week. Checked in 3 times as we kept extending our stay and booked through Priceline. The breakfast was decent, the room was clean, they have nice coin operated laundry machines we used a couple of times. The staff was friendly and we will likely stay there again. We have stayed about 5 or 6 hotels in the area and plan to return to Cobblestone.

Clean, fairly updated, great cleaning crew, front desk was a challenge... They want you to call someone using the phone at the front... But it's locked out. When trying to call hotel directly, number didn't work. Reservations team couldn't connect me with hotel or able to call hotel to find out what was going on... Coffee on lobby... Always good and pretty hot.

Positive: Great beds Negative: I cannot list just one thing but top of the list is the $100 deposit. The deposit was more than the room night price then there is a problem. Beyond that breakfast was not warm, breads were in zip lock bags.

The facility and amenities were newer and nice. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was powdered eggs, brown and serve sausage and make your own waffles. Good, affordable option if you are passing through and need a room.

We stay in Fort Madison 1-2 times a year and it seems like we are always changing lodging for various reasons, not anymore. We will always be staying at Cobblestone Inn. The hotel is clean and quiet. The beds are comfortable. I highly recommend a stay here. Great rooms for a great price.
