Customer Reviews
Positive: location Negative: water never got hot to take a shower; microwave was broken; breakfast included only two cereal options, milk, coffee, and sunny Dee-they should not have advertised continental breakfast. Room smelled like a pickle.
The woman at the front door was super nice! That's the good news. The room, however, was kind of clean. Its the sort of place where you don't let your bare feet touch the floor. It hadn't been swept, and it's probably never been mopped. The bed is hard and uncomfortable, there's a pad on it, but it's a twin size pad on a king size mattress. The comforter is extremely thin, and the bedding has stains. The lights and outlets next to the bed don't work, the refrigerator makes weird loud banging noises all night, and all the outlet covers are either broken or completely missing. Not worth $100 a night by any stretch.
We stayed at the Coachman Inn, because it was affordable. You get what pay for. The staff was very friendly beginning to the end of our stay. The room was basically clean until we when to bed. I thought the sheets were just cold no it the shhets were wet with a brown stain and the smell was terrible. We had to get another room. This is not a good place to stay. Yes, the hotel is central to restaurant in fact there one across the street. This was the second time we've stayed at the coachman Inn both time was to attend a funeral.
I have stayed here several times before in the past when I come to town, and it was decent and reasonably priced. Last night was very different and the price was more. I will say the front desk person was apologetic , but the room was Not cleaned. I found bugs on the floor. Dried Urine on the toilet bowl. Curtains and sheets were visibly dirty. Very outdated decor. The room smelled terrible and was supposed to be non smoking. I was very disappointed and tried to cancel. I was told that I couldn't because it was booked through booking. I will say this is My last time staying here.
The location is probably the best part of this motel, it's just a block off the town square and that's nice to walk. The rooms are clean but sparse and the beds and furniture is old and worn but not worn out yet. Close but not yet. The cost was a good bit higher than the other local budget stays and the name "Inn" was misleading. All in all got a good night's rest although the local cop parked outside my room most of the night made me worry about the area I must have been in.
