Club Wyndham Ocean Ridge

Room was nice. It had everything we needed. This is a quiet location. Great if you want to eat in. Few restaurants and some were not open in December. Good facilities. Golf is close but pricey. Pickleball courts were nice. Beach was empty and awesome.

An absolute gem of a paradise! The staff and management at Wyndham Edisto Island provide premium service that is friendly and incredibly accommodating. The location is peaceful and beautiful, and the suites are clean and spacious. Seamless experience from start to finish. It’s a "hidden gem" that every traveler should experience at least once!

GPS doesn’t take you to front desk. Unit street sign was missing and the amount of maintenance vehicles in parking lot for units made it look like it was closed off for renovations. Checked in on a Sunday and Monday it was raining and the roof leaked. Maintenance came and brushed off the call stating “all those units had that issue due to second floor balcony and would be going under renovation soon and they would let the contractor know”. We were left with no solutions and left with a growing puddle in the floor as the day progressed. Was NOT offered to move units. On Thursday was finally able to connect with a manager on my concerns. It started out as a finger pointing contest between the manager and RCI as to who was going to help me. Tried to show photos as proof of my ligament concern

Positive: Very clean. Property well taken care of. Negative: They kept calling us nonstop, wanting us to do a 90 minute sales pitch on a week free vacation. We got at least six phone calls of them trying to push us to go there even though we told them I was sick in bed. That is literally the only complaint we have!

Have not stayed yet, but made a reservation through RCI in September for a stay in April and have called several times to get one of our six rooms be handicap accessible without any luck. Staff has been unhelpful, dismissive and somewhat rude to me and to the RCI Representatives that have called on this issue. I have gotten several different responses including needing to call Wyndham Destinations, which I did and they said they could not help and that the resort would have to make the assignment for handicap accessibility. Was also told that RCI had to make the room assignment, but RCI says they cannot do that. I was also told that I could only book handicap through their direct website, but that would violate the Americans with Disabilities Act. I am hoping to get this fixed before w
