No instructions for the TV. We were not told the room was upstairs. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. Also reading the book said extra towels were in the bathroom cabinet but not so. I must complain about coffee too. Only 3 pods available and no decaf. Plenty of creamer packets but barely enough sugar.
Stayed in the Lady Washington over a weekend and found the room extremely clean and comfy. The inn is close to the beach and only a short drive from Seabrook and about 25 minutes away from Ocean Shores. The accommodations gave the room a very home like feel with the decor being tasteful and the amenities plentiful. We've visited many hotels near this area and can say for certain this inn is the one we will be recommending to friends/family, and staying in when we visit again and again. Excellent work Clipper Inn; excellent work by the owners. GM Andrew is awesome!
It's good for its value and location. Close walking fist ancestors to food, drinks, and supplies. Close to the beach. Furniture isn't the most comfortable. Upstairs unit is very noisy if you are downstairs. Walls are thin. If you are looking for an affordable decent place for the weekend its okay. Not great not terrible.
On a whim, I decided my spouse, our dogs and I needed beach time last Friday. The Clipper Inn had a vacancy and dog friendly so I booked it. We all arrived the next day and very much enjoyed the "Lady Washington" room. Very comfy bed and very quiet place to stay. Perfect for a quick decision weekend get away. One suggestion, it would be nice to have a 2 person table and chairs in the room for eating, playing cards/games, etc.
Stayed in the Mate's Quarters. Very clean, cozy room, looked newly refurbished, especially the bathroom. There was a little pub noise from downstairs in the evening, but they closed promptly at 10, after which it was quiet and peaceful. A quick walk to the beach, coffee shops, and convenience stores for groceries. Easy check-in and check-out process. No daily housekeeping, which suited me fine. I like the small-town, unvarnished feel of Pacific Beach vs. nearby Seabrook "planned community." Planning to return!
