Clintonville Motel

Our room was absolutely disgusting. Dog hair, unswept floors and what looked like pizza sauce all over the beds and table tops. There was absolutely no effort put into cleaning this room, aside from making of the beds. (When we lifted the comforter, there was dust and dog hair on the sheets.) Also half used shampoo bottle left on the bathroom counter. Extremely disappointed and will definitely never be coming back. I feel I need to shower after just standing in that room. If I could give 0 stars I would. I understand you get what you pay for, but this was absolutely beyond that.

Dirty and in disrepair. Door wouldn't close all the way and had 1/2" of looseness with gaps/light all around, very insecure. Bathroom door not closing all the way, getting stuck on floor with more than a foot open. Floors not swept well, especially under beds with debris and other occupant's "leavings". Badly in need of paint and grouting. Dusty everywhere. Microwave had food debris and grease under it, had desk person wipe it down. Outside looks nothing like picture, shrubs all gone with weeds growing around stones and trash laying around, including used bandages near door. Furniture beat up and old. We stayed, 2 nights, because we traveled far and had already pre-booked, and did not get to see the room until after checking in. Nothing else was available. Do not recommend and will never s

The rooms are nice and spacious and are being updated. The owners are very friendly and easy to get along with. The location is perfect for where you need to go. It's a nice and quiet place and I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a little peace and quiet. Oh and you are able to bring your pets too for a extra fee but it's better than having them stuck in a big building.

The Location is amazing, within walking distance of restaurants and the grocery store. The water is always nice and hot so never have to worry about taking a cold shower. They are very pet friendly here. If you stay during winter you never have to worry about being plowed in the morning. Staff are wonderful and very friendly. Never come across broken glass or garbage outside as the outdoors are very well kept up. Staff are ontop of any issues that may come up during your stay. Prices are dependable and do not change based of dates. Overall very nice establishment. Would love to stay again

We had a very good stay the rooms were clean and the owners were very nice and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed if we needed anything they were very accommodating I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice relaxing place to get some rest
