Cliff House Lodge and Hot Tub Cottages

We stayed at the Camelot Cottage and overall had a great experience. The cottage is cozy, and in a great location for enjoying Morrison. It has a lot of charm and feels like a relaxing getaway. One memorable detail, there’s a beautiful white dog that freely roams the property. Very friendly and adds to the rustic vibe… however, it also turns out this dog is the real culprit behind an overnight mystery smell. My wife repeatedly accused me of being the source, only for us to discover actual dog turds behind our bed the next morning. My name has now been officially cleared. Also worth mentioning, the breakfast was delicious, classic bacon and eggs done right, and a perfect way to start the morning. Very unique Inn. Relaxed Hippy vibes, just what we wanted for our Red Rocks experience to include. |Our family of four adults had the ‘stone’ cottage. One queen & futon worked fine. Loved the private hot tub. Didn’t use the kitchen area, we were only there one night, but would be handy for longer stays. |Friendly staff & great breakfast. |Thanks Andrea, Boo & Joe.

We stayed in the Sail Away room for a night. We would come back but it does need some maintenance. Four out of five stars. For example, the little back patio, which would be perfect to sit and have a cup of coffee has thistles growing and two areas of dog poop that were not picked up. It could be an ideal little spot to have breakfast or lunch or dinner, even in the winter because how colorado sometimes can be 70° in the middle of winter. That area has been very much overlooked and in need of lots of love. It would be nice to have a table and chair back there as well because if you’re going there for peace and quiet, you don’t really want to sit in the front patio area where everybody’s driving by and walking by. Great place close to town. To stay. Hot tubs. A lot of history. Place is older than all of us on earth. The cook made a great breakfast in the morning. And we loved the dog. It could open doors as it wanted to go in and out. Very great service.

I spent 6 hours scouring the internet trying to find just the right place for a staycation in Colorado. I kept landing back on the Cliff House Lodge and I decided to jump in and I am so glad I did. This is now my favorite place to stay in Colorado. The Rose Cottage was clean and quiet and the hot tub was private. The food was hot, the dogs were charming, the staff was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. We are already talking about booking another trip back and we will be happy to stay in the Rose Cottage again.
