Clearwater Resort

Clean and well maintained cabins and property. Tom and Melanie were there to greet us even though we arrived late and provided some fishing tips for our weekend on the chain. They were very welcoming and accommodating!

From the minute you get there, all your worries go away! Tom and Mel bend over backwards to make sure you have a great stay! Comfy cabins, lakeside porch swings, firepits and ice cold beer! Stellar nature hikes, great pontooning and fishing! Book ASAP cuz folks always return to a gem on the lake!

Small and beautiful resort. The bar has great "bar" pizza. I didn't meet the folks who own the place but my friends who do know the owners, love them. Quaint would be the best word to describe Clearwater resort. Oh, and if you like golf, they have a beautiful course within walking distance!

We had a wonderful week. Cabins were clean and nice. Simple, rustic. It was awesome that the bar was only 30 steps from the cabin. Tom and Mel tended bar and a there was usually a colorful collection of golfers, campers, boaters, and local residents. The lake was clean and clear. The kids had a blast swimming fishing, kayaking, and doing endless cannon balls off the end of the dock. What a wonderful hidden gem in the north woods of Wisconsin. It was close enough (2 hours) that we made it up to the north shore of Lake Superior for a day and hit the Zipline adventure park in Silver Bay, MN. I highly recommend it for a day trip. Also, CAMBA maintains a lot of single track mountain bike trails. I went down to Hayward, 25 minutes south of the resort, and rode the very southern tip of the g

My family has been going to the resort for the last 10 years and I have joined them for the last 4. The owners are great, always make you feel like family!! The cabin and docks/sand box area are always clean. Would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.
