Clear Creek Campground

Beautiful little campground. Decently quiet and campsites are nicely spaced apart. Best to make reservations for campsites in advance as during summer months it fills up quickly. There is a daytime use spot as well thay is first come first serve. We adore this spot and come back every summer. Family friendly as well and ok for pets as long as they are on leash and not to reactive as there are others with pets and kids. Campsites: Each campsite has a flattened out area for a largish tent, space for more tents off of the flattened area. A large picnic table and a firepit. Parking: Most campsites have parking for 2-3 cars. Bathrooms: Bathrooms are clean and evenly spaced between campsites so its not too far of a walk. We have been escaping the city for 40 years coming here to clear Creek |it’s a primitive Campground |has a pit toilet |Firewood for sale and a nice host to keep things in order|the views and the hikes are amazing |my only complaint would be the dirt road that is very dusty throwing dust everywhere every time somebody speeds by |it’s only 12 campsites |the hike up to Frog Lake it’s easy by the road or you can take the bridge entrance its fun and the canyon hike is amazing too|I suggest doing the canyon hike on a dry day because the sheer cliff trail gets very slippery when wet |Your reward is the giant tree that fell across the canyon that somehow connects the trail to the other side but it’s the emerald pool water that’s beautifull|It looks enticing to jump in but remember it’s snowmelt |

Great camp. Awesome creek. Right off the road so you hear the occasional car go by but still plenty private and pleasant.

Very charming campground with river access. Not alot of sites so reserve early. Sites are all nice and weel kept. Tent pads, fire pits and tables at all sites. one restroom for all sites.

Beautiful quiet campground with accessible bathrooms. We did a cold plunge and enjoyed fires every day :) only rated location 4 stars because it’s next to the highway which can be loud sometimes.
