Customer Reviews
We recently stayed here and from the start things went downhill. The place has a sketchy vibe about it. When arriving in the office, we happened upon a conversation with the front desk staff and a housekeeper about a smell they had successfully removed. ||The place is old and run down, it seriously needs a makeover. The rugs are worn, the halls and rooms smell, and there was mildew/mold growing across the bathroom ceiling. The police showed up when we did and slowly cruised to the back and spoke to a group of people sitting outside of their room. I was afraid to leave my car here. Another man cruised around the place with a cigar hanging out of his mouth, and took up golfing outside of our room. Later, he had a number of guests over and they proceeded to drink and smoke outside of our
I went to visit a friend that is staying here for a few weeks while the water damage in her apartment gets cleaned up; so they rent weekly. It was upwards of a little under 5 big ones a week, but in a pinch ya gotta do what you gotta do. The room was a single large room with comfy king size bed in the middle. There were ample table space and the room was clean. Not white glove, but unless you do it yourself nowhere is. There is a Walmart icecream stand, gas station and restaurants all within walking distance. Oh and the plaza has a dollar tree, cheap movie theater, nail shop and across the street has restaurants, tech School ,shops as well. Also there is a security door to access the rooms although there is a door/balcony for personal use as well.
I gave this place 3 stars because the staff was really great. They were very user friendly and accommodating. If the facility was in better shape it would have been 4 stars.||||It is an outdated, worn out Howard Johnson's Motor Lodge. Paint peeling, carpet stained, and a bit of raucous crowd. But with that being said, the outdated bathroom was spotless, the bed was comfortable, immaculate and well made. ||||So if you are on a tight budget, and can look past some cosmetic deficiencies, it's not a bad place.
Friendly staff, stayed for a week so far....daily fresh towels and vacuuming, will give you any extras you ask for. Owner is just a sweetheart and wants her guests happy. Debbie at the front is amazing! Larger room than Extended Stay America. Beds are comfy . I highly recommend it here
The staff is super friendly, and we were welcomed graciously. However, when we got to the room, it smelled. We opened the window, but it was hot, so after a while, we turned on the A/C and the room started to smell again. Towels were cheap and left lint on your body when drying off. Shower pressure was good and water was hot. Floors were dingy. The fridge in room didn't work either. Beds were okay. Glad it was only for 1 night.
