Clarion Inn & Suites Cortland - University Area

Check in and check out staff for okay. Please be advised that you might not be able to get a cart to move your luggage in and out so I will try to get a first floor room given that I was not able to get a luggage cart. As far as the room goes it's okay, but there were some spots where you can tell that the room was damaged and needed repair such as one of the photos I don't have that is a tile missing in the bathroom as well as it looks like damage to a cupboard in the bathroom. You could also tell that the carpets in the hallway was not vacuumed and there's one other photo that's included. It's honestly okay for the price, but I would argue too. That hometown studios by Red roof has a nicer room for about the same price and you also have other options.

Was a very enjoyable stay. Staff was friendly, service was excellent, rooms were clean & plenty of choices of food at breakfast time. The only problem I had with this stay was the problems with the doors not working. There are only 3 entry doors that work. So if your room is at the end of the building, the only way to get in is at the beginning of the building. This is an inconvenience to the guests. This doesn't pertain to me as my room was at the beginning of the building. Other than this I had an excellent stay. Thanks you for the "at home" stay.

Find a better place. TV lists is about 80 good channels, can't get any of them. The restaurant they say is on property is a Perkins🤐. No movie channels, can't even get Internet tv . And yes the property is aged and lacking. Only reason I gave it a 2 is because the room is large .

The bed is super comfortable and the room was a nice size. Overall the location is a little difficult to get to and the parking lot could use a repair. I also noticed that the signage seems to not be the current style so it might need a refresh to bring the property to current brand specifications but overall the property is very nice. I definitely would recommend it to others.

Great price. Rooms a little outdated but very clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Not really a complaint, more of an observation, and kind of weird, there are NO vending machines. None. Otherwise I would stay here again.
