Clamber Hill Inn & Restaurant

Deni and Mark were outstanding hosts that were attentive during our stay. This is the second time staying at Clamber Hill and we have already signed up for a third stay. Mark does an amazing job with the menu. The food was fresh and delicious. Deni was always looking to make sure that our needs were met. Rooms were very clean and the staff did a great job each day to tidy up. Just can't say enough good things about our hosts and our stay at Clamber Hill. So looking forward to our return.

You hear so often that Americans don’t have Christmas decorations comparable to Europe. If one believes that then they have NOT been to the Clamber Hill Inn! The decorations are beautiful, warm, traditional and very very inviting! One feels that they have stepped back into a time of harmony, relaxation, and peace ( feelings that are really needed in this day and age). The rooms are so nice. We even had a fireplace! The gathering spaces are delightful. The grounds (with lots of snow) are exquisite . The inn keepers are so caring. One is always met at the door even VERY late at night because an alarm at the beginning of the long long driveway lets the owner know you are arriving. The food is very good and the tables are meticulously decorated!|And then ofcourse there is the delicious

This was my second stay for Christmas while visiting my daughter’s family in Petersham, MA. We entered a 0.3 mile beautifully plowed driveway up to a New England horse farm where the entire establishment was bedecked with Christmas decorations, gnomes and such thoughout. Our room, with a working fireplace, was comfortably lovely with wi-fi access and an extra blanket and heater. There was plenty of hot water in the double nozzle (one hand-held) shower. The bathroom didn’t sport the modern appearance of a new Marriott which would have been inconsistent with the sensibility of an early 20th century New England gem of a home. Included breakfasts were fine as is the restaurant that is regularly open Thursday - Saturday. There’s also a full bar and lots of room to spread out to enjoy. It

We recently had the opportunity to have dinner at Clamber Hill…& it was an amazing experience!!! The 3 of us were sat in the Green room… a beautiful private area. The meals we ordered were made to perfection! The filet was so delicious & tender, the duck was cooked perfectly, and the steak au poivre was excellent! Service was great , cocktails were spot on delicious! This was an experience you seldom find in this crazy busy world… it was so special! We can’t wait to visit again when we come up from Florida.

This was our first visit to Clamber Hill Inn. We wanted a place to stay so we could explore the nearby trails at Quabbin Reservoir and visit the art museum in New Salem (both the hikes and the museum were wonderful!) The inn is up a long driveway, so it is quiet and peaceful. Our room was comfortable, and the internet worked great. Even though the restaurant was closed that night, we could select anything from the online menu and the food was delicious (as was the breakfast.) The room we had our meals in was really beautiful, with stone walls and large windows looking out to the forest. We definitely hope to be back to explore more of the area.
