City Lake Camper and RV Camp

Nice grounds clean, well maintained lots for kids to do. Lake looks inviting for kayaking and has a cool launch ramp. Camps and rv lots are decent size. They have power hook ups.

Was walking my dog and several people just letting theirs run loose.... that's just asking for trouble. First time there and was told there were trails but it was mostly a big gravel driveway.

Only electric has its challenges but having a bury faucet with great clean water made it happen. Would have loved to travel those trails!

I've fished here before not sure about timing for good bites. Not much fish pretty sure was bad timing , but the atmosphere has been pretty good every time. Caming has been good so far. Bringing the kids next time for sure.

Camped here during a cross-country bicycle tour. Conveniently located near the Rock Island Spur/Katy trails. The campground is nice - two port-a-potties, each site has a picnic table, nightly rate is decent. The sites are a bit close together, but the field allows you to tent further out, if you wish. The night we stayed, there was a storm, which we waited out underneath the pavilion by the water.
