City Express by Marriott Matamoros

The hotel was fantastic. The rooms were clean and modern. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. They make you feel as though it is home. The complimentary breakfast is phenomenal. Definitely recommend a stay.

The room is small, but with a fan we bought for 600 pesos from Copel made the room ice cold, and booking.com had us at 24k pesos for the 15 day stay, we booked direct and got it for 19k pesos which saved us about 5k pesos. The day before we were to get married we had to change venues and asked the hotel about their conference room management helped us and let us use the room for free. The hotel staff here is the best of the best!!

I booked 4 rooms. One of them, the AC was out!|The “premium” room-tv didn’t work and the sofa was broken.|3rd room had to be changed because no hot water|When the information was taken to management, all they could say was sorry :( |And no discount was offered.|I chose to stay far away from downtown thinking the hotel would be nicer and less expensive. |We then moved to downtown after one night, and price was the same but rooms were cleaner, the complementary breakfast was much better.

The take for ever to set up a room this is the 3third time that’s always the same the systems is slow more than 40 min to get a room at the lobby

As a resident of Ajijic, the service and accommodations are not even comparable! There's def a drastic difference between Norte Mexicanos y Sur Mexicanos....no customer service skills. No hot water or clean bathrooms
