Circus Circus Manor

The manor rooms are quite ok. Old, and mine was dark because of a broken light. But its ok to sleep here for 1 or 2 nights. Note: during the self-checkin i was offered a upgrade to the newer / bigger towers. I should have done this! Parking is free, windows arent new: sound isnt really blocked. Then again, the rooms are quite big.

I was very surprised that this hotel is currently owned by MGM. When you drive up to the front it looks like the 60's (all you need is some Senontra blaring from the speakers of a Cadillac).|The casino was nice and no smell of smoke; probably because nobody was really in there. |When we booked the room, we thought we had requested a tower room but instead went very CHEAP and booked a manor room. We did have an opportunity to upgrade our room for $20 a day, but the hubby declined. The elevator looked like a service elevator with lots of graffiti carved into the 1970's lite oak wood paneling. |This room was like staying a dirty old 'rent an hour' motel room. If I could I would rate it lower then 1 but that's not an option. Dirty, smelly, scary place that was advertised as this nice inexpensive hotel good for the whole family. Boy was it not! We were given a room in a motel looking side building blocks away from the main hotel casino. First, It was a set of doors with signs to lock your cars up and take all your belongings with you! Then a long dark hallway and room with a window and bed, think scary movie or prison. That's it, no í mean that's it! That is what you get,.. a hallway and a bed.. Not a "Las Vegas" hotel and casino not even close.. Unless you count seeing the hotel from your car when you are driving in.

The room was great. We stayed in a standalone building that was a little tricky to find, but it was nice not to have to go through the casino to get to our room. We booked a last-minute stay here because we had some problems with our original hotel and it had been a long day. It was so nice to go through the self-check-in system and not wait in a huge line! Location was good for us because we didn't want to have to go deep into the strip.

The check-in process was way more difficult than it should have been. It asks you to add details for every single room you reserved. So instead of just using details from the entire reservation you have to fill it out room by room. My room's damage was only in the bathroom luckily. The towels had a stand like someone came on it. The toilets faucet was pulled away from the wall. The toilet seat was really loose. And there was black mold where a chunk of the molding had a hole punctured into it going into the wall. The door and wallpaper has a bunch of water damage. And the exhaust fan is so weak it takes a half hour for it to exchange air from a farther. In my brother's room the TV stand has a closet and someone had kicked the backing panel out on the bottom. The door wouldn't stay shut s
