Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino

I don't recommend going to the bar when some short, skinny, white, bald guy named Chris is there. He is rude and obnoxious. He over reacted over me holding two drinks in my hand while my husband tied his shoelace. He said I wasn't allowed to hold 2 drinks in my hand and he started yelling "security,security". He is ridiculous! Other than that this place is great! The casino slot attendants are very nice and friendly. Great view of the mountains. Good place to take a risk and gamble some $.

Have stayed here prior to Pandemic and it was awesome!||This time not so. ||Let me start by saying Patricia, at the front desk was suuuuper! She is a shining start for sure.||Our room had soooo many issues from broken cabinets, lights no working, really dirty, goop on the headboard (yikes!), that we asked for a room change. Patricia handled it beautifully. ||New room much better. However the lights on the night stands, yes both sides, have minds of their own and randomly come on in the night. Not even because of any motion.||Also the firdge froze all of our hiking food we were to use the following day. ||Yes hotel is a Casino. I didnt expect a non smoking room to be so smokey. ||But our trip was fun and safe! There are now more hotels in Oakhurst. ||Thank you. |Csrol

Nothing unusual except tight security control for entering into hotel

This casino is a good size tucked back on the south end (few miles from) the Yosemite entrance. My wife and I visit a couple times a year. Sometimes to stay overnight. The rooms are clean, and have plenty of space. Fairly updated and comfortable. Prices are fair. But there is one hiccup with the rooms.. the bedside tables. The bedside tables have automatic floor lights that will turn on when your feet hit the floor to light your way at night. Cool idea. Problem is, they also can go off at random times throughout the night and wake you up even with no movement whatsoever. Highly annoying. And no way to turn them off. But this is what gets us every single time we stay at this casino... it is the front desk staff. Not sure what the deal is. They aren't rude. They are pleasant. But they are so

Overall, I had a great first time experience booking this resort impromptu on the spot after walking in without a plan or reservation. The staff who helped me and my family were very kind, communicative, provided phenomenal customer service and hospitality. Thank you David, Gloria, Michael, Justice, Stevie, and Anna!!
