Christie Mountain

Visited Christie for the first time today and really enjoyed the vibe. A clearly well cared for ski area with good snow coverage across all their trails even after some challenging weather in the preceding days. Classic, quaint, homey, community, welcoming all come to mind as you enjoy time on the hill and in the chalet. Great food at low prices and plenty of room to bring your gear in, camp out and enjoy a picnic if that’s what you’re looking for. Prime example of the soul you find at a small ski area in the heart of the Midwest!

Great place to ski for all ages and abilities. Very helpful and skilled team from the ski instructors to the ski techs. The rental shop has everything you need, even helmets and also Telemark equipment. Food is very affordable and good. They have a small bar and great chalet.

We had a wonderful experience at Christie Mountain. The staff was kind and welcoming from start to finish. My 6-year-old participated in ski lessons, and I loved that the instructors were teenagers and young adults — they were patient, encouraging, and did an amazing job connecting with her. They made learning to ski fun and confidence-building, and she left feeling proud and excited to come back. The hot chocolate was the perfect touch and such a treat. We highly recommend Christie Mountain, especially for families with young kids.

Best ski resort I have ever been too!!! Nice employees, safe and fun place to gather and ski/snowboard!! There’s tubing!!! They have everything!!!!!!! Family friendly music! Amazing food!! Ski/snowboard lessons! There’s a beast! He gives you a sticker or a button!! He is very nice!! Good skier!!

I have taken the kids 3 times this year to Christie & we are considering seasonal passes next year. The staff are very friendly & helpful. They have everything you need and the food is amazing. I recommend it all but my favorite is the chicken bacon ranch salad and hot cocoa. 😊 We did Kinder school yesterday & the staff were absolutely wonderful with the kids!! I use to not like winter so much but now I’m so sad to see it coming to an end. Thank you Christie for giving me a new light to winter activities! See you soon. ⛷️
