Chips Folly Family Campground

Had to use there private dock/ lost my way kayaking in area /asked and granted permission to use dock so i could call for pickup/ very unfriendly and i felt uneasy while waiting,i sense they did not like outsiders. While waiting I accidently bushed against a old fence that fell down, right away the female owner came over to and threatened me and made me pay 27 dollars for the fence .What a mean owner !

This has to be the best kept secret. Chips has a fantastic group of people that are like family. Management is stuck in there ways, but for great reason. This rustic camping lifestyle brings you back to simpler times. Water, sewer and electric on all site. A boat ramp for seasonal to use for all their water activities. The seasonals sure know how to have a great time, with summer activities and events for their people. So before you judge a book by its cover, get to know why the people at Chips Folly love where they camp and the people that are there!

Had a great time at this Campground!! Staff was very nice and accommodating. The seasonal residents were all so very nice and it made it feel like home away from home, even though we are 15 minutes down the road. The kids had a blast in the pool and enjoyed fishing in the ponds and in the river. Very laid back will be booking again for another trip this year!!

We had a two day stay at the campground. The campground is huge and many people leave their campers year round. A walk through park discovered deer, birds, turtles and many places to fish. We found a spot where two old chairs faced the sunset on the bay. Beautiful. The pool was warm and clean. The wood from the camp store done of the best we ever found. 5.00 for a huge bundle. Dry and ready to light. washers and dryers worked great for 3.25 for the load. Trials were nice, boat dock well maintained. Would really change a thing. Very chill....

we all ways rent a cabin , it helps because I am dsiabled . I enjoy the pool very clean and well maintained. the cabins are clean and well kept . the grounds are sandy which I like its like your on the beach, this is a family owned place ,. and they make sure every one is included as one big family. they have a boat ramp which is nice , if your into fishing , you can do both types salt water and fresh water all in the same park||, some things are in the process of being replaced or fixed , but all in all I will all ways go back
