Chilton House Suites

Our stay in the newly renovated cottage was exactly what we were looking for! The cottage is separate from the main house, and it looks exactly how I’d imagine an 1820s cottage but with modern kitchen and bath amenities. Fascinating history to this house from the book on the table, and walking distance to town made for easy nights and meals out.

My wife and I loved the cottage. Clean and comfortable. Excellent decor. Walking distance to downtown and the Saturday morning farmers market was a lot of fun! Quiet, peaceful and serene walking the grounds. I would highly recommend staying here again

We rented this entire historic house steps away from Old Town Warrenton and it was an amazing experience. We did so because we had 6 adults in our group to attend a family reunion in Marshall. However you can also rent individual rooms and not entire house. For us, it just happened to be a great alternative instead of renting 3 hotel rooms in a hotel off the beaten path. The house has a kitchen, all amenities, board games, a piano, historic rooms --parlour, library, conservatory. Each queen bedroom is exquisite, fine linens, clean, tv and each room also has its own climate control. There are wonderful sitting areas to gather, relax and visit in. We couldnt have asked for a more enjoyable experience for our needs. The owner is also exceptional--responsive and very pleasant to deal with. Gre

Though not the true B&B experience due to covid restrictions, we really enjoyed our stay at Chilton House. The house has been lovingly restored by the current co-owners - it was a real pleasure to meet one of them. We especially valued seeing all the family artifacts - as a previous reviewer remarked, it was moving. We appreciated having access to all the downstairs rooms (complete with sherry) - and the grounds were lovely. The location is excellent - just a few minutes walk from the nearest coffee shop (essential!) and plenty of other businesses in the historic district. We were happy to be able to use our breakfast voucher there. ||This is an old house - so it does creak at night, but is no noisier than your average motel. We look forward to staying there again on our next family visit

Our stay here was amazing. The house is so pretty and full of history, with no one better to explain it all than James-the innkeeper/butler/breakfast aficionado. Every morning James had the best breakfast set up, including his own homemade granola. The house is in a great location, walkable to downtown Warrenton. James has some great recommendations for wineries and other things to do around the area. Highly recommend this B&B, and we will return!
