Chillicothe RV & Recreation Area

I was very concerned with the negative reviews read before arriving. I would say they were written by 'Kens and Karens'.|Staff nice, perfect new pull through pads. Friendly members always waved and spoke. Private camp, no 'odd' rules. 7.5 mph IS very slow but that's the rule and easy to abide by. Safe and my guess the members probably don't lock their doors at night.|I'd go back, don't let the whiner reviews stop you if you are a good person......if not, then pretty much the response they gave a review was 'hit the road jack and don'tcha come back'

Very clean. The owners are wonderful and helpful. It’s nice that they furnish lawn mowers and weed killer. All the lawns are beautiful. Some new concrete slabs for your camper. Porta potties in multiple places throughout the campground and very very clean. Great beach. They do allow golf cart which is nice. Three lakes with all kinds of good fishing. I have not met a person that was not absolutely satisfied. Period stop by Office they will give you a tour

Nope, never had any problems with anything like speed limits. I gave you a 1 star because you were rude to my husband and myself when we were trying to find out information on camping. You really should be kinder.

Beautiful campground. Pull through sites were great!! Plenty of room for my 43ft fifth wheel and a spot to park my truck. Campground itself is very well kept and huge!!! Plenty of places to walk around and hike. Other people have commented on rude owners or guests, that was not my family’s experience at all!! Everyone we talked with was extremely friendly! Great campground and will definitely be back many times this summer!!

It is a private park with seasonal sites. There are about 20 sites which are used for short term stays. The sites are level, long and made of gravel separated by grass. They are oriented strange, with your RV facing away from the water and the connections in the front. We had to pull pretty far up, so we could connect our sewer. This however negates any benefit of shade provided by the small trees. There is a beach for swimming. Shower and restrooms are very far away, which we did not use.
