Customer Reviews
Very clean, no evidence of insects at all. Very comfy beds too. No in-room coffee, but those coffee makers are pretty scary anyway, lol. Cute coffee shop just across the street so no problem. Quiet for sleeping as well, would definitely stay here again.
The room was nice and clean, though the air freshener is way too overpowering. Every time they cleaned the room, we had to leave the door open to air it out. The office isn't handicapped-accessible, which was a bit of a problem, but at least they gave us a ground-level room. The maid service was great: when I left a note for my sheets to be changed because of a couple of stains on the sheet, they were replaced. The free breakfast was a joke, consisting of a couple of containers of dry cereal and a tupperware box of mini donuts. But there's a couple of really good cafes further in town with very inexpensive, tasty breakfasts. The room we had has a full kitchen, which was fabulous, but the fridge was noisy. Pets are allowed, and we had no problems with our dog. The biggest problem we had was
My husband stayed here for two nights as he was helping his friends move to town. After the first night he asked to move to a different room because he had bedbug bites all over. They totally gaslighted him and said his bites were from chiggers and not from bedbugs. He found bedbugs in the room. They couldn’t move him to a different room because they were fully booked. He wound up sleeping in the chair the second night. As a medical provider, I’ve seen lots of bedbug bites. His bites are classic bedbugs. And normally we wouldn’t post about bedbugs because they are something you can get in five-star hotels and one-star motels. Unfortunately they tried to deflect blame instead of treating the room, and that just exposes more people to the bedbugs.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms was clean and air con worked great. The only problem is the lack of parking.I left at 4:30 pm to meet family. When I got back to the hotel all the parking slots near my room was used up by contractors. There should be a rule about using other people parking space.I had to park nine spots down from my room.I doubt if I come back.
I would not recommend staying at the Chief Motel in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The rooms had a terrible odor, and the linen was dirty with burn holes all over it. The bathroom was filthy, and there were signs of drug activity throughout the property. To make matters worse, the place had roaches. It’s an unpleasant and unsafe environment. Avoid at all costs.
