I stayed in a lakeside cabin that was in walking distance of the water with great views. The cabin had two fold out futons, a full bathroom with shower and a small kitchenette with small fridge. There wasn't much room inside but sufficient for a short stay to enjoy the lake or hunting. The bed cushions are thin and the beds are noisy so bring extra padding or an air mattress. Only three stars but I would still recommend to stay here for an outdoor adventure. You can't beat the location and it does have what you need.
Great camp spot! Only thing is that site #1 was supposedly for the host but not marked as the host spot. Including us, 3 groups tried to park there and was told to move. Other then that it was awesome!
I had a lot of fun visiting for the first time. The hosts were top notch and made sure that we had everything we needed. While staying they were always driving around visiting campers and their truck has a few extra necessities in case someone needed a loan. Wood too except it's a no burn time, ugh! So no cool camp fires at night. When we arrived the camp was clean and the announcements board was well organized. Everyone's schedule/space was posted and all of the rules were there. The roads are a bit narrow so one way only but only a couple other campers were set up so pulling in wasn't a challenge. Seeing another person set up camp made me understand the strict rules about parking and keeping to the camp space. I loved the forest and the view. Where we were staying I wouldn't guess there
The Camp Host on 4-17-21/4-18-21 was the rudest host my family and I have came across! Very unpleasant to talk to. She refused to speak to any campers until after 10 a.m. she refused to put toilet paper in the potty- it was still empty when we left at noon on Sunday. We were in tents and the spots are small but beautiful. We had a spot right next to a stream and we loved listening to it. Our camping neighbors were very nice and we all seemed to get along great 😆 especially since we all had at least one thing in common A HORRIBLE CAMP HOST! My 6 yr old son loved the playground ❤ We would only be going back after the host is replaced.
Spots right on the lake but views would be better if they trim blackberry bushes. Beautiful little Reservoir. Great Wi-Fi here which was a surprise lost one star because campsites not well maintained as far as cleanup. Food scraps on picnic table when I arrived. Garbage on ground. Camp host constantly driving through park with a stereo on full. Leaves his door open when he stops and music still playing so it is very annoying in such a peaceful place. Woke me up twice this morning in addition to daytime noise. If I see him I will definitely say something. They do need to trim a bit some branches sticking out into roadway. Lost star for that. Scratched my car and trailer. Tight spots and very low water pressure between 32 and 42psi...fluctuating
