Catherine is a warm and welcoming host who shares her home whole heartedly. We stayed in the tiny violet room with shared bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and home was clean. The property is stunning with a gorgeous view of the city beyond. Breakfast is fresh, homemade and delicious. I would definitely return and recommend to friends visiting the region. A great getaway!

Highly recommend. My son goes to school nearby; I’ve stayed here multiple times, in various rooms. The property is beautiful. Owner Catherine has all the qualities you look for in a good host. The beds are comfortable; the breakfasts are delicious, and while this is in a rural setting, there are lots of sights and shopping nearby. The atmosphere is one that allows you to interact with the host and other guests as much, or as little, as you want – and its acceptable either way. |

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here and we love it! The house itself is warm and cozy and the area is beautiful with lots to offer, but our favorite part is Catherine. She makes you feel so welcome and comfortable, it’s like visiting an old friend, and she is an amazing cook. One of our favorite parts of our stay here is our mornings spent sipping coffee, having a great breakfast and chatting away with Catherine. We will definitely be back next year, most likely twice! I loved my stay. This place is beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are really cute and cozy. Catherine was the most warm and gracious host. She made a really fantastic breakfast and showed me around the farm. This was a last minute booking and Catherine was very accommodating. The views were great from my room (the King). Rates were a great deal, much better than any local hotel and a more comfortable experience. I highly recommend.

I stayed at Chestnut hill last week while I was in town for work. Catherine was warm, welcoming & made me feel very comfortable, all while giving me my own space to relax & unwind. I’m used to staying at hotels while traveling for work, this was a pleasant experience to have the creature comforts of home. I stayed in the main room which is very spacious, has an adjacent library, great views & a big bright bathroom equipment with a spa bath, double vanity’s & a big shower. The home itself is on a large, beautiful quiet property with views of the city & a quick 10minute drive to downtown Orchard Park. Catherine lit the open fire every night & made a yummy breakfast each morning. Tea, coffee & filtered water is available 24/7. The home is full of plants & the artwork is fantastic! A very welc
