Cheshire Welcome Inn

I was at this place from November 16 to 17 and just for few hours . I normally don’t leave reviews, but I felt I needed to this time. During check-in, the receptionist repeatedly told me ‘please don’t break anything,’ and even used a translator to say it. I have stayed in many hotels and have never had a staff member say something like that to me. It made me feel singled out and uncomfortable, and honestly it came across as stereotyping and unprofessional. I couldn’t understand why I was told that, and the whole interaction left me questioning whether I was being treated differently because of how I look. Hotels should treat every guest with basic courtesy and respect. I hope management addresses this

We traveled from Fl to ct to see family and attend some events. Got to the hotel after using Booking.com and were given key to room 118. We went to the room i went in the sheets were yellow in color and not made yellow. Opened the shower curtain and there was puke on the shower wall. ||We have asked for a refund from both the Cheshire Welcome Inn as well as booking.com and received NOTHING DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE.

Great location. Budget hotel prices with budget hotel vibes. Very standoffish front desk. Rooms could use some freshening up. Quite dingy. Outside was freshly painted.

This motel had everything a more expensive hotel would have. Our room was very clean. There were outlets to charge our devices on each side of the bed, reading lights, and a new mini frig with a functioning freezer. The bathroom had granite countertops, and there was a anti-room outside the bathroom with a chair. It could be used as a desk. There were windows front and back. Even the drive from the interstate was pleasant!|And the bed was super comfy.
