Cherry Mills Lodge

Of course you need to be a fan of B&B! And it helps if you LOVE a very old house/lodge. As our home is over 100yrs old we felt completely at home...although I believe Cherry Mills has been more wonderfully updated than my home! I love how SOLID old buildings are. I love to look at all the woodwork and details...the old windows...the fireplaces - aged to perfection. As for the accommodations - first class all the way! Nothing was lacking in our room. Also loved the breakfast delivery room service! Sadly, we never even met the inn keepers...perhaps it was a "contactless" offering - in which case - no excuses for anyone who wants a get away "safe'y" these days of 2020! The grounds are lovely. I wish for Dushore to get just the right amount of rain real soon - the creek was so low..

Me and my girlfriend were looking for somewhere to stay when we visited the state parks near by. This place was perfect. Conveniently located between worlds end state park and Ricketts Glen. House is in such a pretty, quiet and peaceful location. We stayed in room F on third floor and it was very cozy. The breakfast baskets placed outside our door at 8am is such a good idea and it was delicious. They included snacks to take with us on our hikes as well. We also liked hanging out with the outdoor kitties on the porch in the evenings and them sitting on our laps. It’s only a couple min drive into the town of Dushore as well. It’s a small town but had everything we needed. If you’re in the area this is the place to stay at. 5 star B&B

Had a wonderful stay in room A with my wife and teenage son.|Brenda and Mike are so nice. As other reviews have said, the breakfast baskets are amazing. We really like the basket delivery idea and you can take it to one of the common areas or eat in your room.|More time on the porch swing listening to the creek would be nice, but we were out and about doing things like hiking in World’s End State Park and visiting nearby family.|Convenient and unique location on the creek. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming.

Mike & Brenda do a fantastic job of making you feel like this is your home away from home. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very cozy. We have been there before and we love Room D -Creekside.||The breakfast is plentiful and hot & delicious. Thanks again for another memorable stay. Just a note - there are no TV's or phones in your room, which makes it for a perfect relaxing stay. Plus, each room has a fireplace!

This lodge exceeded every expectation that myself and my family had! We were able to rent out all of the rooms and loved spending time by the fire pit, down by the river, and in the living room area. There are so many thoughtful details in every room that accommodate your every need. The breakfast was delivered right outside your door and was delicious! Lots of privacy and a peaceful getaway. Definitely will be returning and cannot recommend enough!
