We have been coming to this campground for years and really like it! Hobble Creek runs right through and we always get a site right next to it. There is a great hiking trail nearby! We were not impressed my the Camp Host last year. Seems to change from year to year from our experience. There is no cell phone coverage in the campground.

We have 35 young men and 12 adults over the weekend. The camp directors were very very good. I do highly recommend them. They needed something done. We did it for them. Highly recommend taking a big group there. Also, recommend if you're taking a small group.

This is a great campground with a stream following through year-round and some beautiful sites next to the water. Nice tree coverage, although more deciduous and not many pine trees. Balsam Campground, farther up the canyon has more pines if that is what you are looking for. But the canyon is beautiful no matter what your preference. Fall colors are great mid-September to October depending on the year. Only downside is noise from traffic on the main road up the canyon, which is just across the stream.

Such a beautiful campground. The camp host was so nice and was super friendly. Sites are decently sized and bathrooms were remarkably clean. I plan on going back up as many times as I can this summer.

Love the new hosts and they have a delightful and helpful child. Restrooms were very clean. Campsites are few and our 30’ trailer barely fit into the one or two that could accommodate us. But the canyon and creek are lovely. Sites are quiet and shaded. Only drawback (the reason for 4/5) is the road noise next to the campground but traffic is light. Definitely wildlife in the area… smelled a skunk that was curious at 5:00 am and found raccoon tracks on our picnic table!
