This is a quaint little RV park that looks like it’s been well loved and used. The pull through site was big enough for our 38 ft 5th wheel and Ford F250 truck to stay hooked overnight. The location to the lake was nice, wished we had been there when it wasn’t winter and so cold and trees barren. It’d be nice to see it during Spring/Summer! I’ve left a couple pics to share. There was this sweet lonely goose in camp … crying for his friends….made me sad! Affordably priced.

We got there Sunday, office closed Sunday and Monday. Had our form in the late registration cabinet. Unkempt property, weeds, and dead grass. Grill on our site, missing knob, filthy, ripped up aluminum|Foil, rusted grates, and rust inside. Concrete patio broken. Playground and property had poop all over. Electric outlet filled with spiderweb and leaf pieces. Bathroom looked fine but toilet paper roll in the holder looked like it was wet and shriveled in holder. |After 20 minutes seeing all that, we left. We did get refund after we emailed our problems with it. There was no view of the lake. The fishing pond was a square pond that was stagnant.

Our experience at this KOA site was very mixed. On the one hand, it is a beautiful site -- with lots of trees, nature trails, a large playground with sand for the kids to enjoy, and a staff that was super friendly and helpful. On the other hand, the place felt like it was run-down and not being staffed as it should be. Picnic tables were in poor condition and our adirondack chair broke on the first day. The website promised an onsite petting zoo, but that was no longer in operation. And we were there for 4 days - from Friday to Monday, and the front office was closed for 3 of the 4 days. They have a great game room and amenities in the front office, but it doesn't do you any good if the office is always closed. So much great potential, but it needs some love and needs better hours o

This was the most disappointing KoA I have ever been to. It was only an overnight stop, and it fullfilled that. We had full hookups. Problem was, we got there and the office was closed. Come to find out, the office is completely closed 2 days a week. We had planned to fill our propane, could not do that. They advertise pizza, could not get that. Never saw a single employee. It served the purpose, but was well below the standard I expect from KoA.

We have stayed at dozens of KOAs, and unfortunately this one was pretty disappointing. Not sure how it is getting such great reviews. The office was closed early when we arrived at 4:30, the trash container was overflowing, etc. The grass, what there was, was not cut. The sites and roads were very dusty…although that’s not the fault of the park. Not many options in the area, so maybe ok for a drop in overnight, but we will try to find another park next time.
