From the moment you walk thru the door the staff goes above & beyond to give you the best experience possible! The Rooms are amazing, the views are spectacular, food is outstanding, and it is by far the cleanest most comfortable stay away from home possible. Absolutely terrific all around. What a wonderful group of people that work there! Slip on the complimentary robe & enjoy a dip in your rooms jacuzzi tub, or the hotel pool. Dont forget to grab some complimentary Starbucks coffee in the am as well! Just a perfect stay!!
Positive: The outdoor space was beautiful! Well manicured and clean landscape, being able to walk along the lake edge, and the huge fire pits made the outdoor space the best part of this hotel and exactly what you would want for an evening at the lake. Negative: The beds were very hard and the pillows offered no support at all. Worst pillows I’ve ever used actually.
This was a B-Day gift.|This is a five star hotel at a very reasonable price. The grounds were incredible for walking and viewing the lake. Unfortunately, because of the time of year, the outdoor pool and the outdoor carousel bar were closed. We sat outside with drinks from the bar until it started to rain. We found the drink prices at the bar very reasonable. We enjoyed a king Lakeview room with a balcony.Again ,unfortunately because of the cool weather, we were not able to use the balcony except for viewing the grounds. The rooms are very spacious and clean. A nice touch is the fact that they serve free Starbucks coffee on each floor until 11 AM. However, that means there are no coffee makers in the rooms.yYou do have a mini fridge, but no microwave. The beds are very comfy.|The first nig
Pros: Friendly restaurant and bar staff. Great salads for dinner. Nice lake view. Fairly comfortable room. Quiet in winter. Cons: Front desk staff told us every day (3 days) we would have turn down service (nope, never happened). We drink decaf coffee, but had to go to the 1st floor in the AM to get it. No decaf tea on 3rd floor so, again, had to go to the 1st floor for it and it tasted terrible. Ordered/paid for it in the restaurant, much better. No Keurigs in room, so you are on your own to scout out tea and coffee in the AM. Small pool. There was a family in it splashing around when we were there and the hot tub was not hot. Big price tag but management should work out the kinks. All I got was an apology email, no credit for our stay. Not good customer service.
We traveled to Jamestown to visit the Lucy & Desi Museum and the National Comedy Center. We wanted high-quality accommodations, and this hotel was an exceptional choice. While it isn’t within walking distance of the attractions, it is certainly worth the short drive. We took advantage of an off-season special, which made for a very affordable and enjoyable experience. Check-in was a breeze. We requested a room with a sunset view and paid extra for a balcony; even though it was cold, the impressive water views made it worth it. The amenities are great, including a restaurant/lounge, a seasonal outdoor pool with a carousel bar, and an indoor pool and hot tub. The indoor pool was clean and kept at a comfortable temperature in the 80s. The only items that could use improvement were the hot
