Chatham Travel Lodge

My car broke down on my way to a concert after driving 3 hours (I didn’t make the concert). Fortunately I broke down directly across the street from this motel. The people were so nice and empathetic and willing to help me out. Was a positive experience at the end of a terribly frustrating day. Room was very clean and the price was right. Good people and good motel.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Disgusting, ants, bedbugs and roaches. Had missing personal items so don’t leave your stuff out they even go into your room with do not disturb 🪳 up.

pros are nice people, well kept grounds,room was clean.cons bed was iron hard,paper thin walls so if you have a hard time with noise and can't wear ear plugs maybe not quite right fit. unfortunately there's not much that owners can do about the lack of soundproofing but they have created a lovely environment and nice updates on the rooms themselves and as I stated they were clean and well cared for.better mattresses would be nice as well.the in room coffee setup needs an upgrade as well the provided coffee product isn't meant to be used with the provided coffee maker and the coffee is horrible better to not have it than do it so badly.

Perfect for our needs. This hotel was midway on our journey and I can definitely recommend staying here. It is a basic little motor lodge that reminded me of the roadside places we would’ve stayed with our parents growing up in the 70’s. |The landscaping was beautiful, the employees were kind and helpful, leaving the room ready for us due to a very late arrival. The location is quiet, safe parking and best off is it is dog friendly with plenty of green space for them to use. I will stay here again next year. |In summary, vintage basic style motor lodge, clean, quiet, lovely green space, nice enployees and dog friendly for a very good price. Recommended.

A definite relief,, I've tried quite a few places around the area and been disappointed. I've stayed in 2 different rooms when I've been here in the area coming off the road. They both been very clean, beds aren't beat-up and lumpy so far comfortable. The hot water is great no fighting with it or waiting for somewhat worm water like other places I've tried. The office woman is nice and cheerful ,definitely nice walking in seeing someone smiling and greeting you. The view is great and it's quite. Quiet a few restaurants just down the road I recommend = Whitestone Restaurant great breakfast and dinner their steak dinner, they also offer a breakfast and dinner buffet also you can order what you want they do have a bar the staff are very nice and the owners are great very nice and work t
